Today we visited Alto Valle, our 100 MW Thermal plant that runs on natural gas. This plant is not remote, and located only minutes from Neoquen, and our hotel. Alto Valle (pronounced "All-toe Vy-a") was originally built in 1969, and Duke Energy purchased the operations in 2000. As we were visiting you could tell the employees were on edge due to the volatility of the power market in Argentina, and the uncertain future.

Today marked the end of Emily's week long stay. We originally debated if it was worth the high cost of the plane ticket and time off work to visit me, but looking back, it was worth every penny.
