    ... for the locals - which is evident at this restaurant. Pretty cool tradition for locals to drop by and they always have a table to share. The food here is unbelievable it is so good. What a night! I managed to get quite a few grand photos on my wandering around the Markplatz and many side streets while I was in Gengenbach, especially on Sunday.     ... discovered why you can only buy UHT milk in France though... They fill the fields with hay rather than cows! Never seen so many bales! The satnav took us an odd route through some major towns / cities, including rough looking Kehl which we'd advise you give a miss! We finally arrived in Saverne.   • We wander around taking in the history of this place. You could spend a week or more getting around it all. Johannes Gutenberg developed the first printing press with moveable type here in 1450, its first University was founded in1567 and " La Marseillaise" debuted here in 1792. I could go on and on about this place. I think we will have to return one day to stay and exploits more ...
