      The big surprise of the day was when we did arrive my
      girlfriend Kate was sitting ringside having flown in from Australia that
      morning!! She is here for 2 weeks and we plan on doing a bit of sight- seeing together
      including a couple of days in Paris checking out landmarks such as the Eiffel

      Baptiste , Edouard’s son, is in charge of the sales horses but at the moment he is with a team at the Valkensward GCT show for a couple of weekends so it was up to me to keep the sales horses ticking along until his return.       ... at some other station. Would be 100s of these bike stations. So we got one each and rode away not into the sunset but to Bois de Vincennes. Good fun and i understood immediately that Andreas had loved this mode of transport so very much.       ... we are warm, clean and safe. On Tuesday we had a full day tour out to Versailles. There is a great deal of history regarding the grand palace and it dates back to the mid 18th century during King Louis the XIII reign of France. The whole palace is covered with gold leaf both inside and out. We had the behind the scenes tour where the "commoners" don't get to go.
