    ... it really interesting.

We saw an older lady with a hairless dog. We weren't sure what kind it was, so I greeted her and asked her if it was a Xolo. She said it was a Peru, but the way she said Peru I didn't understand. Then she said Xolo is Mexican, her dog is Peru [Peruvian Inca Orchid]. So then the light bulb went on. Ohhhh! I told her we have an American Hairless Terrier. The conversation was a little tough, but we managed.

By then we were dying from the heat and ...

... From there we walked around looking for some place for lunch. We decided on Chez Lucien along the arcades of the cathedral square. There were no menus, just written choices on blackboards. ... the table I now remember. We used wifi a bit over lunch. After we'd done the inside the chairs arrived, so with the help of two more of Tony's French friends (one who cheerily spoke great English and one not a word nor understood a word) we loaded them into a trailer. At this point even more friends arrived so we all unloaded the chairs and tables onto the lawn and put another trailer load near ...

... got lost and we ended up back where we began. Eventually we got there – it is a lovely winery area with a very pretty town. We found the Le Gardin … I didn’t love the wine but we bought a bottle to share. We had a lovely walk through the town and eventually at the very top near the Tower we discovered Le Verge des Papes. It had magnificent views ...
