        The ship anchored in the bay and we went ashore on the ship's tender boats. In the morning it was reasonably calm, however getting back in the afternoon was a different story, boat rolling from side to side, a bit scary actually.         We walked across the street for dinner tonight. We wanted fried calamari and a pizza. The guy who drug us into the restaurant assured us we could get calamari. We ordered the pizza and calamari, but it wasn't fried calamari. It was like something we'd never had before. It was delicious. It came in a stew of fish stock and red wine and so tender. I know you either flash fry squid or you stew it.

        ... a grocery store about 10 minutes from our hotel and got a yummy cheese, smoked prosciutto, bread and a beautiful little piece of pork pate with black truffles in it. Our room wasn't ready so we walked across the street and sat on a bench over looking the Mediterranean sea. It was gorgeous. We just can't get over the colors of the water. It is so crystal clear. I'll bet the snorkeling is amazing here.
