Saturday.

Left Ieper on the train and Nieke met us in Brugge. A really lovely old town with much history, churches, canals and chocolate shops. One of the old buildings was a facility used by single women. (those who didn't want to marry or become a nun) It was enclosed within a high stone wall and gates were closed each night at 6pm for the women's protection.
