Cool with drizzly rain most of the day, 12-15deg, 48km, av. 12.8km/hr, tot. 1251km. Today we entered our sixth country for this trip, Belgium. Steady but light rain throughout the night but it had eased to drizzle by the time we left for Ypres at 8:40am. It was so nice to be back on cycle paths, mostly beside canals. We made good time to our first stop at Comines, a twin town in France and Belgium, where for the life of us we couldn't find a coffee shop. Saw six pharmacies, ...

I would love to visit Ghent again and I'm almost positive that I will. I had the best experience with the locals, food, hotel, and everything else at Ghent.

... Kiosk, which was across the road we used their fancy desks to find a local brewery were mark very enthusiastically decided we should go next. The brewery Mark and Ross thoroughly enjoyed. They made their beer out of Gruut which is a secret herb mixer instead of hops. Mark is now planning on getting the guys at Plonk in Canberra to stock it. The toilets in the brewery were fairly open and you could see the men's urinals which were open mouths, this could be ...
