... pics of the local homes as we were quite taken by the home sizes and architecture. Tidy, tidy and more tidy homes. Notably absent in the little villages so far has been the lack of corner-type grocery stores. Of course, the gas stations have taken on stocking some items as is the case back home.

Tonight we will have a nice evening with the gang at a local gasthof and tomorrow we will head south along the Moselle River and ...

We were treated to wonderful home-cooked Dutch cuisine and had a fun time catching up after some ten years since they visited us in Canada.

who felt like we had seen each other last week and not three years ago.

          We made our way
to Weert where Sanne lives and spent the afternoon catching up and walked the
town centre. She cooked me a traditional dinner of Stamppot Boerenkool, mashed

And I'm actually really excited. Today I have Intercultural Communications and Lit Foundations. Will update later once I've taken them!

Since I've got some time before class, I want to talk about a few things that I can't seem to fit in anywhere else.
