    ... Orange and Cola mix they have over here.

    Andrea and I then played monopoly deal (a card game) while Evan played in the pool. Dinner was more like a buffet to use up all perishable goods as not much stands up to this heat.

    So after 22 nights in the van, 1100+ miles and 10 different campsites it is now home time. We drive for Rotterdam and the ferry home in the morning. We may stock up on cheese and beers before leaving Holland!!!!! ...

    The floral displays in all the cities, towns and villages have been beautiful. They obviously don't suffer from windy weather as the bhanging baskets everywhere have been stunning.

    Many of the front gardens in Belgium and Holland are quite small, formal and structured. The one plant that wins the popularity stakes for garden plants is the hydrangea, especially large white ones. They obviously do really well.

    to have lunch and used our own facilities. We found the camperplaats at Weert
    fairly easily and it is extremely well organised. Just 18 spaces with hard
    stands for each motorhome to park on, tail end in backwards please! We sat in the sun for most of the afternoon,
    but went for a walk along the canal after dinner. ...

    ... was, as always, a bit stressful. I got a tad panicked because the various electronics I had had to be pulled out and I held up the line, but the woman behind me could tell I was a bit tense and was very kind about the whole thing. Once through, it was a quick two hours until boarding.
