... call with Oma to see how life was back in NZ. After dinner a number of Elly's family turned up for drinks and we all had quite a few laughs talking about family happenings. It has been two years since I first heard about Mercy Ships; a teacher of EF Cape Town, Chloe, gave us a presentation about this wonderful organisation. Well, the time to say goodbye is certainly in full swing. Colleagues, friends, family... Sometimes combined with other activities (concert, dinner), sometimes a dedicated moment. fairly easily and it is extremely well organised. Just 18 spaces with hard
stands for each motorhome to park on, tail end in backwards please! We sat in the sun for most of the afternoon,
but went for a walk along the canal after dinner. ...

... for me at the airport, so great to see her, another gorgeous friend
who felt like we had seen each other last week and not three years ago.

      We made our way
to Weert where Sanne lives and spent the afternoon catching up and walked the
town centre. She cooked me a traditional dinner of Stamppot Boerenkool, mashed
      potato with kale and ...
