This morning we woke up and it was snowing!! Heavy snow flakes fell from the sky and it was negative degrees outside. We nearly cancelled our days plans due to the weather and slippery roads but decided to do it. It was a good thing we did as the snow covered scenery was fantastic! Snow capped trees, snowy fields, snow on all the houses, the most white I've seen for a long time. We travelled along the French wine route, through lots of cute ...
Today we went to Europa Park. The park is separated into all the different areas of Europe. From Russia to Spain to Iceland. It is themed like that country and has rides, shows and entertainment. We walked through a massive shopping centre to get to the markets. I had to pee so went into Meccas ...
... supermarket-bought salmon, prawns and crabs. Our one true restaurant meal was at this far-flung place (if you choose to walk like we did) in Schiltigheim. Aux Quatre Vents was a true gem. We stumbled into a little cosy house, not knowing what was on the menu. We had escargots, rabbit meat, lagsana, spatzle, salad ...
