We ended up getting to the hotel at about 8 PM, so didn't have time to go back into town for dinner and to see the city. It was a bit of a bugger considering we won't have time tomorrow as we are at CERN all day. Instead, we went next door to a nice Italian place. I had an awesome risotto, and many of the others got other fantastic looking pasta dishes and pizzas.

We watched the girls play in the park, avoided ice cream - it was only 9 in the morning- and precisely 8 minutes later, the woman I so graciously gave directions to, came up to me and kindly informed me that if we were still going to the museum, we'd need to go the opposite direction.
Hmm…I was starting to wonder if I needed a technology class….....

... Angela wowed us with fresh pizza. Mmmmm…felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Now that we knew where to get wine, we were on "sommelier duty" and she was the chef du jour! Once again she had us entranced with her European adventure stories, and had me making a mental note about all the Italian villages that we absolutely needed to visit.

Ahhh…I love "restaurant" nights!

It was like going to the Stampede. People lining up in throngs under the heat of the sun, kids in tow, ready to willingly hand over gobs and gobs of money to be rewarded with rides, theme parks and full family excitement, even shows, to then get hungry causing you to – yup you guessed it – consume food that costs even more.
