The children really enjoyed themselves, listening to the various displays, looking, touching and feeling the different items, and even being able to be interactive with the various Olympic torches over time. It was truly magical.

Our time drew to an end all to quickly and we headed back to our little abode in ...

The bike was a dream. When I applied the brakes…unlike my bike at home…it STOPPED!

…mental note - I must give my bike a tune up when we get back home! Stopping on command - what a novel thing!

We biked the Rhone River, found a park in Villeneuve where the kids played, ate some lunch and ...

Travel day again today. This meant another trip along the valley back to Visp, another train ride down the next valley and over to Lake Geneva. Our destination was Rivaz, a tiny wine-making village in the middle of the Swiss Riviera, with cobblestone paths and layered terraces absolutely full of grape vines, wine makers and wine cellars. It is just beautiful. We walked up the top of our town, took the views in and then headed off on a walk along the lake road to ...
