    ... of the Matterhorn. This route took us via the town of Heremence
    which is a typical Swiss mountain village with the usual pretty chalets and
    geranium displays.

    After stopping for a quick meal and drink and noticing that

    our way we set off on what turned out to be a five hour walk to the top of a
    mountain and back.

    The first four kilometers was up what I will call the 37
    corner path. The route was along an old road that wound its way through 37
    corners up to the top of the cliff. From here we took an arbitrary turnoff and
    ended up walking for another hour until we arrived in a little mountain village

    ... good, still couldn't sit or lay on my butt was OK. The doctor eventually came and we agreed that if I don't improve I will go back to a hospital for x-rays. We got a taxi back to our camper about 9pm on where we moved to a stelplatz thanks to Jan and Chris finding one.     all, and so we pushed on to our overnight stop at Martigny.

    A big shop before the weekend was followed by spaghetti for
    supper. One thing that I find interesting is that there are no shops that open
    on a Sunday, so if you run out of food or alcohol over the weekend, you have a
    problem.
