"We're all cooking something and watching the Eurovision song contest semi-final tonight" my hosts tell me by way of a hello. So, I leave my bag at the hostel and go food shopping. The lounge is huge and, food cooked, we pile in and cross our fingers that Estonia can make it through to the final to join the "The Big Five" countries automatically …

Sun is out and we are up early. (Well it doesn't go down, I don't think. The sunset was near midnight last night and I woke at 3 and it was still light) After a quick check on Duster, we went for a walk to explore Tallin. It was a really nice city, but soooooo Touristy. We found our way to the KGB museum, but as per most places, you have to join a guided tour. This of course was booked out so we didn't get in. We found ...

... was. It wasn’t attractive at all, but still very interesting.

We hopped on a bus back into town and decided to just chill at our hostels for a bit and meet up later. There was a free museum night tonight where you could go in any of the museum in town for free from 6-11pm, but I just wasn’t in a museum mood. Instead I met up with Kirstyn at about 9:30pm, grabbed a snack and a drink and then went to check out the view of the old ...

... a designated "City Card" which you can pick up for 24€ for 24h, with each additional day costing an extra 8€. I actually didn't buy one of these but if I had then I would have saved a decent amount of money, plus I may have been tempted to try a few other places.

Details are here ( e/tallinncard) and they are dead easy to come by. ...

    The hospital chapter

... for some time further while the body got rid of the .klebsiella. Friday check went well despite still feeling ragged and got the green light to leave Estonia. Of the couple of days at the apartment, I managed a short excursion to see where I had spent the past week which was majestic and warranted a much more attention but it was all I could muster. I have only one photo of the hospital but old town Tallinn is much more interesting!
