... chivito. This cholesterol bomb is a steak sandwich topped with cheese, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, olives and pickles. Awesome. And it obviously has to be washed down with a litre of the local beer. Once our long lunch was done it was pretty much time to head back to the ferry to return to Buenos Aires. To say we had "done" Uruguay might be a bit of an overstatement. But it's always nice to try somewhere new for lunch.... Phil and Mups ...

... dry off. The trip back to BA was uneventful and we walked back to our hotel without incident. We stopped to pick up some takeaways and a bottle of wine on the way. When we got back to the hotel the trip list for our first tour was posted. There will be 6 of us and we have a meeting tomorrow night to discuss the details. It will be interesting to meet them. Tomorrow we are off on a biking and kayaking tour of BA that we are both really looking forward ...

... arrived at our destination and Emily was awake so she was able to share in the amazing encounter with an abandoned fenced off crumbling building. The bullring was completed in 1910 and held 9000+ people but soon after opening Uruguay outlawed bullfighting. As American Gladiators hadn't yet been invented the building fell into disuse.
