    ... for fish, me swordfish and Lorna went for tuna loin. Much better than Lornas Steak Tatar that's for sure!! The resort is pretty much 100% Spanish, few dutcheys and Italians but we haven't spotted any more English! It does mean that the waiters or shop keepers don't speak it either so has kept us on our toes.. Last day on the beach today and unfortunately there seems to have been an influx of jellie fish, not a huge amount but enough ...

    ... to turn around when we looked ahead and could see that the road began to climb -- and climb quickly, with many switchbacks -- up the mountainside. That was a good sign, so up we went.     I was going to learn a lot this day, and it had started the night before. I would be reminded many times today, and in the days to come, that we were now in Catalonia, not necessary Spain. Barcelona is the capital of the Catalonia "autonomous community" within Spain, which had been independent for longer than it has been part of Spain proper.
