Stopped for lunch at a restaurant near Ensenada - soup, salmon and semolina pudding - very nice (included in tour). There were at least 3 bus loads there at the same time. Lots of plants in the garden there could have been in a NZ garden. The whole area reminded of NZ, The farms similar - dairy, wild ...

SCCI NAS VA570 PALIX A570 GAL W18 CRV W50 ESQ L775 MON SCTE at FL100/Fl120

If the weather is good along the mountains you can use T658 between GAL and ESQ - it's about 70 miles shorter.

There were the typical low broken clouds over SCTE so after contacting SCTE radar he gave me direct to LANKE which is the initial fix for the RNAV approach to runway 15. After landing I ...

... These falls mark the beginning of runnable river, which we were also lucky to experience in rafts and tandem Duckies just last week. Class 3 & 4 rapids characterize the water, with massive wave trains that seem to last forever. Not only was it some of the most exciting water either of us have ever run, but probably the most gorgeous as well: we got to see sea lions swimming up river for fresh fish, endless deep ...
