... found a cross, some sand statutes and many bracelets that people tied to the cross. There we found an unofficial geocache. It was marked as geocache, and it was not registered on the app i use. But luckily I had pen with me, so my two cousins, uncle, and 2 more people signed our names in the log that were there. That definetely made my day. As always, the walk back seemed shorter. We had a couple of beers at the bar, and then had a huge dinner from tapas basically.

I spent 10 days in La Graciosa. The first 4 days was just the close family, spending some good familiy time, with beaches, restaurants, beers and the usual afternoon siestas. The island has a popoulation of roughly 600 people, no fresh water sources and the soil is completely vulcanic, extremely difficult to grown anything except Aloe Vera. I took a bus to Costa Teguise, there were 3-4 geocache for me to find.
As the bus approached the town, I realized that the town was extremely touristy. There was lots of German signs, lots of English pubs and so on. Prices were sky high of course. The day was very hot, but luckily the caches were all on the coast, I would stop whenever I wanted to jump into the water, either from a beach, some rocks, a dock or in the port. ... maybe because they think that you are food critic. They served me right away, brought me things that other people did not have on their tables, and made sure that the food was just as I wanted. I asked, bring me the best fish you have tonight, and the best apetizer also. I ate extremely well and service was very good.

After 32 / 33 ks yesterday i was really feeling it in the knees and hips today. When i got to a little place called navarrete that was it for me. It was my intention to stay here and it was only 23 ks but geez it felt a lot more. Last night surprise surprise i ran into oddbjorn. He had made it to Vianna but was geting a bus tomorrow to logrono and flying out. With his shins the way they were i thought there was no chance of him getting that far. ...
