We have noticed that, for the past two weeks, women having been sewing white lacy doll clothes and life-sized baby dolls were being sold in the market. The custom here, is for a family member to place a doll, representing the baby Jesus, in the Nativity scene at Christmas time and then to dress it up in fine clothes and present it in the church on February 2nd.
