      ... Mexican food. After this we had a tour around the cathedral guided by friendly local who knew a lot about the history of the place and then took over to introduce us to his daughter in law who had a stall selling silver jewelry – "Very cheap prices !" In the evening we had a drink in another rooftop bar and were serenaded by a couple of very good Mariachi men.

      ... to our destination crossing our fingers that the lovely glossy pamphlet we were shown wasn't fake!! To our delight and surprise the hotel was lovely and for a mere $3 more than what we were paying for our 10 bed mixed dorm shared bathroom we had a lovely private room, with our own bathroom, TV, awesome swimming pool and delightful views over the bustling Zocalo - I think we had died and gone to relaxation heaven!!
