... same in Spanish as it is English and adamant we visited the town of Pasto before heading to the border. We didn't care much for either but were grateful for his advice of different antibiotics and for the nurse to give my elbow a through and incredibly painful clean and patch up. Seeing the doc and 2x nurse treatments set us back about 55k COP, about 18 quid so not bad.

Our hearts stopped; the same thing had happened when we left London for Mexico 13 months earlier, which resulted in us having to buy an overpriced bus ticket before we were allowed to board. Of course, we didn't have any, and tried every trick we could conceive of to get her to let us on the flight: we showed her the stamps in our passports that ...

It was a terrible display of the reality of the Spanish conquest, especially here in Cali, where the population is dominated by African Americans. We continued on to the oldest Spanish cathedral in town, which was made into a museum. ... over the silhouette's shoulder. I settle into a decent performance though but Kai, the german guy with us, turns out to be a crack-shot. His six bullets form a tight bunch around the heart of the target... feckin' Germans!

Cali is a great place to relax in the day and party in the night-time. It's gonna be hard to leave this place.
