We actually bumped into a couple we met on a coffee farm in Salento, they pulled up in their car next to us. We had a chat and have planned to meet up with them when we are in Medellin. ... sat on a bus with freezing cold air con and LOUD movies (again I was prepared) I took a trip out to some monestary.

Now I’m not really a religious type and have also seen more churches on this trip than a nun will in her lifetime, but this one was awesome – looking like something from Lord Of The Rings carved into the bottom of a valley with giant arches running over a giant river and waterfalls flowing from steep rock faced cliffs. ...

... though it was listed on their signs. We eventually found one and got on the bus ok this morning.

When we arrived in Popayan earlier today we went out and had some lunch then walked through town. In the central square a guy came up to us and asked where we were from. Normally this would mean he was trying to scam something out of us, but we got chatting to him and he was really nice. Turns out he was ...
