          ... was just as sweaty as me! Was good fun as ended with group moves again. Had a shower and chatted to some folks in hostel sussing out evening plan.           Leaving relaxing Salento behind we took a minibus (brand new Mercedes van) for 6 hours to Popayan. Popayan is a small colonial town which is where we would be celebrating New Years. We couldn't be bothered with the hype of New Year so just wanted a nice local place where we could see the new year in in local style. Many travellers would be heading to the salsa capital Cali for the festivities but instead we would be heading there just after :-)

          Yesterday was another really interesting day. I started the day off by heading to my 10:30am salsa lesson and the had lunch with Jan. I then took a bus into te commercial center and walked around checking out the ridiculous mannequins and searching for a place to buy guitar strings.
