Friday 3rd January

Another hot day, and the yoga session at 1pm proves quite a challenge, not least because it is conducted entirely in Spanish. It is also quite strenuous. Neither of us are getting enough exercise during this traveling lark.

The 7pm salsa lesson is particularly fast and furious. I am not the only one who is ...

Salsa capital of the world.

... straight forward. The only thing of interest about our border crossing was at the middle of the night our bus gets stopped and 5 huge guys with military fatigues with guns bigger then themselves get on and tell us all to get off. have is better kept, and there is less of it - fewer cars, plastic
signs, cheap gear etc. I walked to Plaza San Francisco and watched a
tragicomic act by this guy who had dressed up and trained his dogs to
dance. I took the opportunity to try the famous Cali cholado -
essentially a slush puppy, but so much better, before braving the long
walk back home.
