... this period of year there are mostly aged people resting there, however I noticed there a lot of clubs near the beaches, so I consider that in summer this town is full of students. The beaches are sandy and what is important all those beaches are public. And one more thing - there are NO PRIVATE BEACHES in Lloret de Mar!
Lloret de Mar, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands eleoshka... and very promising until we got out of the car and explored. The village is obviously quite new, and rents must be high, as the prices were high too! How disappointing. We returned to the car with time on our hands and made a decision to visit Tossa De Mar.
Chris & Milly had stayed at Tossa on a previous visit to Spain and raved about it, so we set ...
cerca!
desp escribo desde la muralla!
... the last day we got a tour of the city. It's constructed in the shape of a triangle, which was different. We saw the beautiful church (didn't see that coming, did ya?) and took a tour of the city walls, which was incredible. Storm clouds on the horizon behind the city. I was on top of the world. Then we drove back to Barcelona, and as Kortney and I got home, the rain swept in.
All in all, a basically perfect weekend! I didn't even get sunburned!
... half - v v v v v v briefly and only to me. I tried to take a photo but only got one of the locals.....oh well
We then headed back to town to drop off the car...no real dramas other than v heavy traffic.
We then went on to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral - that was started in late 1800's and only has 25-30 ...
... has a patio on the roof with a gorgeous view of the old town. It would be great to hang out but I only have an hour or so before sunset to see the city. Again, I walk along the top of the town wall's fortifications. At sunset, I made it to a great overlook of the 14th-century cathedral. It is supposed to have an amazing interior but I am far too late. I just enjoy the sunset behind the cathedral with the mountains as a backdrop.

... feel like i am touching the sun. We went back to the campsite bar hoping to further develop our representations. Unfortunately nothing was going on and we soon left. After this we bravely approached a group of girls (of which none of them i was interested in Tiff because you are amazing) on the beach but due to a lack of language skills ...

As a special birthday treat me and Olly decided to buy 3 litres of sangria (less than a euro), 3 litres of wine (less than a euro), a bottle of vodka (less than 4 euro), and a bottle of random spirits (less than 4 euro). We then hit the beach for the first time. Cooking our food amongst the rocks we met a wandering Dutch guy who spoke perfectly English. He sat with us for a cigerette. We then got truly hammered ...
... easy ascent. We then coasted down the mountain into spain were we purchased some cheap Spanish stuff.
Alex went for a two in the woods and stung his backside. Then to make things worse, after we set up camp, we suddenly heard a booming sound. We had set up camp next to a runway by accident. Fools.
In order to get to get to Malta without paying an arm and a leg or having to fly for 10 hours or more via Italy we decided to take RyanAir out of Girona. Girona is a small regional airport near the beach resort of Girona which is could be called a RyanAir airport. There are many flights out of here and almost all of them with RyanAir. Our plane left at 6:40 am in the morning so so that ...
