... to life though, they seem to work hard and play hard, and enjoy socialising out in the sun with friends and family.

Although it has been fairly manic and tiring, I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks working here. The next couple of weeks will hopefully involve finishing my analysis of the TTD parameters as well as analysing shelf life samples using ethylene absorbable pads to see if they help to extend the shelf life.

A quick basic breakfast was had at Hotel Sauce before Battery Boy and Video Girl headed out to visit the interior of the Basicilia.

Battery Boy might be chastised by Pope Francis but he felt that Basicilia Zaragoza was grander than the Sistine Chapel. The frescoes and sculpture almost caused an information overload due to the size and detail. They were lucky enough to listen to a service whilst they were there.

Bit of a lie in this morn - on the road for 8:30am, convoyed up with five other cars, by the end of the first two ole down to the original four. France was gloomy and raining again. Worked our way down to Bordeaux, the headed to the Pyrenees mountains, along the way one of the guys cars developed a pretty serious issue, their clutch stopped working - so we all pitched in ...

... of services here at all, the place is almost empty. I guess it must get busy at sometime as the place is massive. I had 2 hours to kill before my bus for Pamplona left. Thank god they at least had a bar / cafe where I had some lunch and a couple of beers. They did have a laundromat on the station platform so you get you washing done while waiting.There wasn't even a WiFi link available. Thankfully I had my own mobile hot ...

... English for me. But eventually I made it to Zaragoza safely and Juanma met me at the bus station. He drove me to my hostel so I could check in and drop my bags and then we went to the castle Aljaferķa where we did a tour, in Spanish, of the castle which is now used as the local parliament. Helpfully Juanma translated most of the interesting things.


After the castle tour, our friend Victor who I had also met in Belfast met us and we went for a walk through the city ...
