... One described how wells have been found in storerooms and they think that snow was mixed with straw to keep food stored well.
The bus ride back was three hours as there was an unexpected 60 minutes at one town. But it didn't matter to us. We actually scored a tour around the city as the bus dropped people off at different hotels.
Our few days in Zaragoza have been varied and a great experience.

Barcelona to San Sebastian via Zaragoza

Back to Barcelona and off the Epic. I love cruising but was actually quite glad to get off this one and back to reality. Long, long bus trip (around eight hours) to San Sebastian. Sore bum and swollen ankles. Had to change buses in Zaragoza. Couldn't find correct bus stand as the electronic timetable display thing didn't seem to include my destination or the time I had printed on my ticket. Being a Sunday there was no staff around except for one witch of a woman ...

I arrived at what has to be the biggest bus station I've ever seen and realised that I have no idea where to go to meet this family, so I ask the security guard who brought me into the back office, let me onto his computer to get the number and ring it so I could find out where to meet everyone.
