... July 13 Monday  blog out , till we leave for Andalusia meanwhile , while still in Altea : Moved  to another apt down the street on july17 , still in old town . Liking this area. Convenient to shops, train, cafes  and beach.   July23 Thursday  checked out the nude beach to complete our Spain Tan ! july 25 Saturday  Catching the last of Le tour du France at beach side cafes Left Altea on July 27  at 11:30 am  ; onwards to Andalusia  ...

... long passage and sailed nearly the whole way. There was quite a strong wind in the right direction to push us along nicely.

We ended up anchoring not far from Muros. There was a fairly strong wind around the mountains and a little bit of swell but it wasn't too uncomfortable.

... enough to swim in for the first time this year (I do mean only just though, it was quite a shock when I jumped in!) and we spent the afternoon sunbathing and feeling obnoxiously self-congratulatory.

We got into a marina today so we've bought ourselves some fairly cheap champagne so we can celebrate with 2-Blue - now it's time to enjoy our time in these Galician rias - supposedly one of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the world.

... Park, very well kept, and very scenic.

Afterwards, we have what is, for Kathleen, an adventurous lunch, Tapas, consisting of Patas Bravas, Garlic and Cheese Potatoes, Tortilla, Meatballs in piquant sauce, with a bottle of Rioja of course.

... there are lots of chicks still being fed by their mothers, even although the chick is big enough to fly.

The chick follows the mother around, making cheeping noises and sort of fluttering it's wings in a pathetic way, until, the mother relents and feeds it.
