That evening we were determined to have the huge meat kebabs that the 'chiringuitos' barbequed to perfection! Our restaurant was right on the beach – beautiful setting, beautiful weather!

... We enjoyed a day or two relaxing on the beach and a day touring in the Hinterland where we meandered in and around the pretty pueblos blancos of Salares and Cómpeta. There was a large scorched area of hillside visible just above Cómpeta but otherwise life appeared to have returned to normal. Obviously our guests were also subjected to Flamenco Night and a couple of fun evenings in the village bars and restaurants...

... kids, who are often blessed with beautiful features! The joke of our group would often be "it's because they are in recession" or their 50% unemployment rate apparently.
