Today was a full day. Did the Guggenhiem, went up the "Funicular" up the moutain, found a nice “asador” (grilling) restaurant, took a nap and made it out for pinchos (not to be confused with “pinches”). Pinchos is the Basque version of tapas. Stopped at 5 places and had ...
We drove from Madrid, got a bit lost trying to find Lurdea. We thought it is a name of a village but it is not it is just the name of the Hotel/Casa Rural.
The place is amazing. Located in the hills above Bermeo, with magnificent view of the ocean. It is clean (like really clean) and has the air of a relaxing boutique hotel.
... br>With the nice tourist services in the place such as tourist guide, accommodation and transportation is more convenient a tourist-friendly place. Hoteles en Bilbao, restaurantes Bilbao, Bilbao car hire and other tourist services are one of the economic sources of the city.

Bilbao, Basque, Spain and Canary Islands mptania... with and they always say something like, "Oh ... if you really want the best alfredo sauce you simply must try this restaurant in Italy." I mean, Martin had told me the beef in Cantabria was always top quality and always fresh. The steak in this place showed me he wasn't exaggerating. Great food. Oh, one other thing I tried and loved. Drinking wine the Spanish way. Agua con gas y vino. Yes, that would be one half glass full of bubbly mineral water, and the rest of the glass filled ...
Bilbao, Spain styrskyThe next place on the map was Bilbao. The weather changes dramatically in the North and by the time we got to the outskirts of San Sebastian it had started raining, but even so the drive along the coast was magnificent as it was so green. We had a look around Bilbao, and its nice park. The famous Guggenheim ...
Bilbao, Basque, Spain and Canary Islands nath_wright... We found some lockers and stored our bags. It was kinda pourng rain on and off here, so we bought some umbrellas at a store near the station. Finally we were on our way to the Gugghenheim Museum. On the way there, Homer comes up to me and hands me a grey scarf and says Merry Christmas. I was so happy to finally have a scarf, everyone else had one and i was left freezing on my own will. From this day on, I was now living in warmer days. On ...
