Feeling better

A travel blog entry by joshualyon on Jan 04, 2015

I haven't done much this trip, but walked back and forth to Gibraltar a few times. The city is unique, but mildly expensive food and entertainment. I never did go hunt down the monkeys and I am leaving with £40, that I would like to have used on the top. I didn't feel up to the walk and the lift was closed because of winds today. Next time. Maybe someday when I just want to party I will be back. No tax on liquor makes this a tempting week ...

Mountain Trek to Ronda

... along with the usual chapels and churches. As you enter the town, you are greeted by the Porte de la Ville - a magnificent tiled archway, with a gentleman strumming a guitar. It really sets the mood nicely. Our overnight stop, was in a car park in Sintra. 8th May Sintra the following day consisted of a walk through the town, famed for its architectural buildings and cobbled streets. They were pretty cool, but not as spectacular as previous places. The highlight of this ...

Journey here not a lot to see!!

... Almalfra fell far short of its five star rating in our opinion.
We were not that impressed with the rally, although we enjoyed the Tapas Run and the quiz night. There was a very good bass guitarist one night and Christmas day entertainment was good with a 'Bee Gees' tribute band. But the Christmas meal was diabolical; we have never ever had such a bad meal, Kay was ill for two days afterwards and was positive the fish she ate must have been off. ...
