... as we were driving we learned a fun fact courtesy of our tour bus driver. Gibraltar has the only international airport in the world where civilian vehicles regularly drive on the runway. In fact he pointed it out to us just as we were crossing it, what a cool experience! Overall it was wonderful to visit the tiny country of Gibraltar and while we definitely knew it existed, it was fun to learn a little more about its history and of course everyone loves a chance to ...

    - People here don't have subwoofers - for whatever reason - but its so frustrating because they still play their music loud and it is so ridiculously tinny !

    - All countries have the same name in English and Spanish except if it contains an English word... i never even considered that there were words in names, they just seem like the name to me. for example it is Nueva York (New York) and Tailandia (Thailand)

... Only a 5cm sign placed on the ledge above the door that you can only see from the other side of the street. Melany had called them the night before and was told there were plenty of beds and no need to book.
Well, in a period of 10 hours while I was on the night train from Portugal the hostel was booked out. Bugger! The receptionist did say there was one lower bunk on the ...
