... several streets and observed the “no overhead” merchants, whose wares are displayed on white sheets with rope attached to the corners, like parachutes. When the police arrive, they pull the strings, the sheet becomes a bundle of wares, and off they run. Within a minute after the police drive by, they are back in business. I think we must have seen a couple of hundred different fake Chanel purses….

Next was Parque del Retiro - a massive park in the middle of the city - just across the road that is widely compared to Times Square. It was given to Madrid from the Royals in the 19th century and was previously used by them for shooting wild animals, but now only cats remained.

This morning the girls and I woke up to a delicious smell in our kitchen...our host brother Ricardo was making us crepes! He was making them the size of serving plates and he put out jelly, whipped cream and Nutella to put inside of them. They were vary tasty! Ricardo is a great chef, he has made us pizza, homemade pasta and crepes! After eating breakfast we made our lunches and started the process of getting ready.
