... mosh pit at a metal concert. The flow of traffic is constantly interrupted by clogged sections of tourists stopped to watch what a street performer. I have to admit that even I became a part of the traffic jam when I saw a man push all of the handle of a spoon up his nose, and then tap it with a hammer. I stayed here watching his various tricks until he used the power drill to twist up his eyelid, and then decided it was time to find greener ...
Madrid, Madrid, Spain and Canary Islands sirsmonkey42... civiques. *** On etait hier a Cuenca.
Cuenca, Spain and Canary Islands warm... prochainement.
Cuenca, Spain and Canary Islands philocan... at the top of the hill and in the main square we looked in vain for the anticipated cluster of hotels. From the tourist-friendly yellow signs it appeared that there was....one. It could have been a formative moment in the ability to build character whilst lugging a rucksack in the rain but in the event it was actually both cheap and nice. The 18th Century, former choir school was very beautiful indeed ...
Mon lit............. A demain
Cuenca, Spain and Canary Islands philocanLeft Madrid on Dec. 27 and headed for Cuenca. There was suppose to be these hanging houses. More like houses slightly over the edge of the rock face than hanging. Cuenca is a small town but there were some cool museums and buildings. On the 29th when we left Cuenca and got the train to Valencia where we encountered an ...
Cuenca, Spain wilsonking... we would be charged a hefty fee for not refilling it, we headed out to find a gas station. Easier said than done, considering half of Valencia was cordoned off for Fallas parades and the other half was a maze of one way streets. Oh yeah, and most of the stations were closed. This was a serious test of my navigational abilities, but after about 45 minutes of hunting we found a station and refilled. Adventure over.
Cuenca, Spain youngt... beer in my glass, even though the other half is gone. But this oversleep was not really my fault. It was because of the Spanish TV that shows some ... shameless programs after the midnight. The programme I watched first was so exxxciting, you cannot find any equivalent in Eastern Asia. I actually read an article that in China, you can get executed by watching something even less explicit (or "sensored", to be direct), that can only be ...
Cuenca, Spain k.toyodaCuenca was my 2nd destination in Spain and is about 2.5 hours from Madrid by train or bus, it's a rather quiet small town but good enough to spend a few days. Day 8 After arriving from Madrid, I immediately started looking for accommodation. Cuenca does not have a Youth Hostel so I was looking for a pension. As I was walking down the street from the train station, there were already a few hotels and ...
