        ... of Madrid went down hill. Our guide told us the taxi fair should cost about 6 euros and after a manic almost dangerous drive in, the driver charged us 6 euro plus what was on the clock €6.35 so near on double. When speaking to our fellow travellers who caught the taxi from the hotel not the train station we paid so much more than them..that was our first rip off. We spent hours wandering Madrid's streets before meeting up with 26 of our bussies ...

        ... murals. There must be some festival or local event at the school. Sleeping for the afternoon made me feel like a local. The location in incredibly central - within a 15-20 minute walk to Retiro Park, The Prado, the Reina Sofia museum, Puerto del Sol - and minutes from multiple Metro stations (we've found Metro to also be easy to use and super clean and efficient). At the same time, it is still very quiet.         ... When we get to the next stop we needed to switch it was already about 7:40 and the next metro wasn't coming for another 5 min.
