We finally made a break for it and got completely wet on the 30 minute hike to the van. Since we were soaked and it was raining we decided to get a cabin at the campground, a small wooden shelter for us to hang out in. We had dinner and wine and cuddled up covering the whole floor with sleeping bodies.

... climbing all day in the sun on a crisp October day. We climbed some warmups, a great overhanging 7a, and 2 long routes, one 40m and the other 35m, on steep faces both rate 7b+ (5.12c). Amazing climbing on pockets and edges with distinct cruxes but long and sustained as well, perfect.

The last few months have been without writing, but heaps of thinking and new emotional experiences.

We'll begin back in October. Everything with my job started off very well, and has continued that way to this day.
