... window as we climbed into the air.Puerto Varas was now behind me and it was now time to carry on my journey North.The pins on the map are now making sense , I can see my North to South route from Sao Luis in Brazil to Ushuaia in Argentina and now my South to North route from Ushuaia to San Pedro.This Northern journey will continue all the way to Venezuela eventually but for now and on the plane I am making a decisive step to the North.

... As the name suggests, this basically involves sliding down a sand dune on a snowboard. And Phil and I are adventurous types... After working out if I rode a board "goofy" or "regular" (for the record, Phil was "goofy". Exactly) we trekked to the top of the dune and attempted to slide back down it.
