... a guided bus tour out to the launch pad, the vehicle assembly building. It was an expensive day @$50.00 each Even With The Senior Rate �� but worth it. ... and made the executive decision to move on the next day as not much happening here out of season.

The only local culture we did experience while there was at the local Wynn Dixie supermarket. We stopped there on the way back to the hotel to pick up a few supplies so we can just stop by the roadside and have picnic lunches to cut down on expenses. New Orleans was pretty expensive, what with eating out for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
