... We went in circles for a long time. Eventually, we found the place (after an hour of a half of driving), but we had missed our time and we couldn't be fit in to another time. So, we started the drive to our house. It was roughly 2 hours. We stopped and got food. It was terrible. The pizza tasted like it came from a lunchables. It was so bad. ... could we do!
But getting back to the horse show. These horses have been bred since the fifteenth century to preserve and improve the breed. The performance was truly wonderful and we were so happy we went. One part of the performance had 8 horses performing together and that particular performance reminded us of the ice skating routines, as the horses weaved in and out and did several "splices". ... for dinner instead of going out so we all can talk. It´s so nice and it works out because this is the season of rebajas, or huge sales at every clothing and shoe store. I´d rather spend my money on clothes than food, anyway. Bring the big suitcase, Chris!

The region of Andalucia is well-known for its love of horses. I had booked my tickets well in advance for an aways sold out horse show by the famous Real Escuela de Arte Equestre in Jerez de la Frontera (an hour away from Sevilla). I thought the show was at 8pm but stressfully found out in the morning that it was actually at noon. A taxi to Sevilla Santa Justa station and a taxi from Jerez de la Frontera station meant that I made it JUST on ...

Meeting up with John in Jerez.

... of the minarets of former mosques. Most of the churches are baroque with mudjedar decoration and there is a well preserved alcazar which we visited earlier in this trip with some friends.

John arrived on schedule and we had a pleasant dinner but we had to rush off to the mountains of the sierra de Grazelema national park in the morning. Aftter an overnight there we returned to Jerez and enjoyed a final couple of days shopping and eating.
