Had a lovely time but couldn't wait to get on the road again, we watched the sunrise had a cuppa and were on the road for 8am en route to Peniscola, it was so nice there we decided to go back for another night and another Chinese meal! Acting like locals we decided we would try to avoid the toll roads as they virtually double in price for the holidays so we hit the dual carriageway and headed into the hills. The scenery was stunning ...

A blustery night and a good breakfast set us up to head out into the wild winds to explore the old town, an imposing castle once occupied by papa luna,a spanish pope from ancient times and all the little cobbled streets,shops and bars.nice and sunny but had to stay away from the beach to avoid ...

... spray along the stunning sea front arriving back at our hotel like bedraggled dogs. A quick sauna, steam and hot tub soon warmed us through and with our clothes and shoes out on the balcony drying we headed back to the chinese for a repeat visit, couldnt walk much further than that after our 10 mile hike, and again had a lovely meal hosted by the little nodding chinese lady. It finaly stopped raining so hopefully the shoes will have dried out for tomorrows exploration

Hit the road reasonably early after another night in the bed from hell and headed out to the motorway or autopista as they say in Spain. selected the teach yourself Spanish cd but the drone of his voice was sending us to sleep so abandoned that and stopped at the services and bought a strong coffee a sandwich and asked for the toilets all in fluent spanish! hey who needs more than that!So the secret ...
