After our outrageous adventure in Santarem we were on the home stretch of our Pilgrimage. We were heading to Avila the home and birth place of the first female doctor of the church St. Theresa, and John of the Cross. We stayed and prayed in the church dedicated to her and walked around the town, it was a quick visit, and then we were off to Zaragoza.

Another week another country, so we headed on down to Spain for the weekend and as soon as we got in on Friday night we grabbed the car and headed to our hotel for the night. Hoje começaram as Jornadas Medievais. A cidade tá toda decorada e tem várias coisas interessantes espalhadas pra ser ver.
