... we're talking. Chorizo?? I'll take two please. Got to meet some of the guests including some Italians and Chileans. It was a late night and I was a little dissapointed the next morning when I woke up at 5 and instantly knew I was up for the day. I went down to check out the sunrise over the lake and low and behold, it was also a full moon over the lake to the west. Got some great pictures, drank a cup of coffee and took it all in. (For the record, not that it needs ...

... top was one of the most panoramic we have ever seen with many
beautiful lakes and the surrounding snow tipped mountains. It would be very

up the views and ate a leisurely lunch ...

Some people in Bariloche recommended we stop by there but we couldn't see why, it was a pretty strange place. All of the towns along Ruta 40 have an eerie feeling to them. They're very quiet and, being so remote, it's hard to think why a town exists at all. I'd be amazed if passing traffic can support a ...

The town itself is very pretty although quite touristy, with souvenir, chocolate, and ice cream shops on every corner. For Mike´s birthday we went fly fishing with our gregarious guide Aldo, catching two decent sized rainbow trout that we cooked with mashed potatoes for a fantastic birthday dinner. Aldo had invited us for Christmas with his family, which we were happy to accept, and it was a wonderful glimse into Argentine life. Here they celebrate on Christmas eve, with ...
