Our 24hr stop in Amsterdam was great! The weather was amazing which is almost unheard of for this time of year! We are taking the ship of sunshine Motto around our whole trip! Let's hope it lasts!! Once finding Chris, Rainier and our Hostel we were ready for some tea, green stuff and a sex show!! Dinner was hilarious - our waiter was a great time! …

Scott and I arrived in Amsterdam airport, with backpacks in tow, where we next had to catch a train to the city centre and then a tram to our hostel. Our next stop was Rotterdam where Tour de France was to begin. After a short train ...

We try a little Belgium chocolate and get on our way to Ypres or Ipers, not sure if one is the town and one the city or if the same place. We don't have accommodation and find it difficult to find a place to stay. Greg is tired from the drive and needs to rest his leg. So he has a beer and looks up the Internet for a room whilst I walk the streets looking for a ...

... was less of a hotel and more of a hostel, but we felt comfortable. Our room housed one bunk bed and two single beds, and had an in-suite sink and mirror. I missed this feature at the Heart of Gold in Berlin, as I couldn’t even brush my teeth without going to their scummy bathrooms. Luckily here, the bathrooms were just wet, and the showers were separated from the toilets so it was more convenient to use.

Our first night we just explored ...
