. We had to walk a bit of a way with our bags to find our hotel. We crossed 3 little bridges on the way! Our hotel is great, though a little old and rickety, the room is very little but we all fit just fine.
We quickly freshened up and then went out walking ...
... traffic is like watching an intricate dance, vespas zipping in between lanes or on sidewalks, cars ignoring red lights or the whistling polizia directing traffic, and trucks pulling straight into traffic. But somehow it all works...despite all the apparent chaos and confusion, I've never seen a wreck. Visitors even have to join in the chaos somewhat, getting used to the fact there isn't always a crosswalk were you need one ...

Although we saw a lot today, it was a nice relaxing day, just taking things at out own pace, seeing the sites, eating the food and stopping to enjoy the moment! Another 2 full days in Rome before we head to Munich. Hope you are all well. ... else, was the Sistine Chapel. We walked through the museum which wasn't really my cup of tea. Not really the history in into. However there were some cool things and then we got to the Sistine Chapel. I thought the main painting was going to be massive. It was actually one of dozens of paintings and you aren't allowed to take pictures. Still cool to finally see though and the intricacies of the whole Vatican were great. The level of detail is unmatched.
This morning we caught as ferry to the Isle of Capri. Once there we boarded a small boat that sat very low in the water and sailed around the island. It was a bit rough but a great experience. The water is incredibly blue and we went into one of the grottos and the water in there was a bright aqua. We sailed through the arch of love where Sophia Loren apparently soled in one of her movies.. Once back ...
