... an Allied bomb in WWII, but it has been patched. Obviously, lots of Roman ruins in this little Croatian town! We only spent about an hour there, but it was an interesting stop. Next, Rovinj...our destination for the night. After a siesta (it's in the 90s again!), we headed into town for more exploring, sight-seeing, and dinner. Again, the town is right on the coast and has some amazing views, which are the real highlight of the town! We enjoyed wandering the ...

Often difficult to read the menus in Croatian but overall has been pretty ...

They recommend a great authentic Croatian restaurant on the top of a mountain that was excellent! Returned to Pula at dark. ...

Day 2 in Croatia yesterday was spent exploring the city a little more. Went to a grocery store for a few items, then grabbed a quick lunch at a little deli. We then packed up and headed for the beach at the Adriatic Sea. There is no sand on the beaches here and it is ...

... Croatia after about 8 hours driving. The landscape quickly changed to a more Italian/Mediterranean feel. Then one more hour south and we arrived at our destination, Pula! The owner of the house Bogomir, was here when we arrived with some cold adult beverages that were quite a welcome touch! He sat down with us a went through a map of Pula sharing some local tips on where to eat and ...
