A bit cooler and rainy this morning. Our last full day in this lovely town. We checked out the fishing fleet again when it arrived - mainly sardines and a few octopus. The guys work so hard taking the fish from huge vats and putting them in boxes, filling the boxes with ice and loading them into trucks. Apparently the fish are all trucked off to Italy for sale as Croatia only has a population of 4.1 million and Italy has 67 ...

It is such a beautiful little town. We feel we could stay here for a few ...

The sun came out and it was stunning again. We walked around the water to a man made beach - no sand, only pebbles but that didn't seem to deter people. Everyone wears bikinis - age or size is no barrier!

There are lots of German tourists here - it must be a quick run down through Austria to the ...

... I wanted to walk up to the impressive Church on the hill and have a look, but I was worn out by that point and just didn’t have the energy, so I slowly made my way back to the meeting point. While I was wandering around, I was observing the people. My impression was that some were locals just out with their families (and dog in some cases) and some were tourists and many of those fit the same demographic as me – middle aged and ...
