Brits out here are finding it difficult to contact british consular officials , and many who did not book a package holiday ( increasing numbers book ...

... that JJ in Egypt is a girls name! He laughed forever. I then told him my real name and he said that JohnJames is much better. Sam could not keep the smile off his face when he was told Samuel was an Arabic name... Great. We've spent the rest of the day lounging in the sun, drinking beer and having some food. It's been really nice! Also we've been planning the rest of the trip. Tomorrow will be ...

        ... how long!)

Turns out, even with all the extra
        stuff I was only 19k. You are allowed 23. I clearly haven’t
traveled enough lately. I used to be able to pick up a suitcase and
immediately tell you if it was over or not.. Not to self: travel
        more.

        Apparently I am getting incredibly
efficient with knowing what I do and do not need and cutting out
everything else. I have realized I can happily live off one suitcase,
        and then ...
