... the animals two by two. Where did the giraffes live? The website details all the future plans for expansion—they envision a Tower of Babel, a walled city, and a first century middle eastern village, among other things—and they assert that the whole complex will be historically accurate. ... is we need to drive through Greater Dallas, so that should be an experience, wish us luck, from Tye we head to El Paso where we plan to spend a few days.

Notes from home is that you lost power so our furnace is still not fixed but supposed to be there tomorrow, be glad when that's done so we don't have to worry about it. Feel kind of powerless when so far from home.

As it happened, we did not attend the last day of the conference due to unforeseen circumstances. We spent a fairly quiet day; we did tour Little Rock a bit more. We found the Little Rock Central High School site (still a working high school). The brave young men and women who attended that school impressed me, and when I saw the video, I was also impressed at the thought of the parents who had to send their children to this school every day...you ...

... zillions of years ago). We didn’t find any, just some cool rocks, but they average a couple of small diamonds per day found by park visitors. There was a nice trail to the Little Missouri River with an overlook where you could see a few teepees across the water. By far the best place we’ve stayed so far!

I'd say this is what we were hoping for when we planned this trip, and it feels good.

... to describe it. They’re HUGE and beautiful. With the addition of the feather pieces, there’s been a reconfiguring of the prop truck yet again and John was told we’ll have to make some adjustments to his big props to make them pack smaller. They’re fairly easy adjustments, but they want them done by tomorrow and we have to do crew laundry tomorrow too. I’m not entirely sure how it’s all going to get done, but hopefully we’ll get some help and make it ...
