      Road Trip!

Having seen the traffic trying to get into London when we left, we decided it would be wise to drive to Heathrow the night before our flight and stay somewhere nearby. Since the UK is tiny, this was not really an all day proposition, so we planned some stops along the way.

That the cruise ship was in fact leaving on the 10th and we were travelling a day too late. This despite the fact I checked and double checked all of the arrangements when I booked the tickets eight months ago. This despite the fact I have reviewed all of the joining documents. This despite the fact the detailed ...

... think tomorrow will be a long day – I have a 12 midday check out but my plane isn’t until 10pm. I could go into London for some of the day but, knowing me as I do J, I wouldn’t be able to relax and would spend the time looking at my watch. I am able to use the hotel facilities for the day so will probably hang around here for as long as I am able to string it out.

      Now for that ...
