... Slimy mounds of calcite glistened and we admired the landscape of the roof in the plunge pool of water that has been constructed, perhaps for sacred bathing, or for sheep to cool themselves in! We clamoured back to the cafe and hostel, grabbed some well earned beers and stretched out in the sunshine and siestad. As we journeyed down the moon rose and the rock glowed orange behind us. The question was "How long was the Hundred Years' War"? There were 3 teams in the tiebreak. We thought 113 years and the other 2 teams went for 65 and 114 years. The correct answer was 116 so we were close but not close ...

Very lush, very expensive....

... it looks great. Unfortunately this tour is a bit rushed to actually get inside some of these places. They do however, give you an over view of what is here to see. We have about 1/2 an hour to wander some of the downtown area (mostly jewellery and cafes) before we have to head back to the ship. We head back and have some lunch. All in all this island seems like an expensive place for the rich and famous play in. Not the kind of place we will likely come back ...
