... cold (12 degrees) And Akita isn't any better although luckily the rain stayed away today and I was able to look around without getting wet.
I am certainly not on a backpacker trail here. Even to the extent there are no hostels. I had to get a hotel room ( 2 star ) and pay a little more than hostel dorm prices. The 2 star here though is pretty good so I am not complaining ( too much)
Akita is quite a big city but ...

Lake Tazawa stats:
depth: 430m (Japan`s deepest lake)
time walked: 4 hours 50 minutes (the large trees did slow us down a little)
clothes needed: all of them except our swimming costumes

Everyone cried even the boys, they tried to hide it but we could still ...
These are just a bunch of old photos from a night of drinking in the laundry room.
And photos from the day I had to go to Karaoke for about 5 hours with my roommate and our friends...sober. It was an interesting experience and I actually sang some songs towards the end.
