    Japan and its seasons... The people here go absolutely insane about it, and they are fully in their right to do so. Well before the end of a season, anticipation about the next one starts. And slowly you see it happen. Nature changes, the food changes, fashion changes. I know this happens all across the world (provided there's a reasonable distance from the equator) yet likely nowhere as dramatic as here in Japan.
