I returned to my room, where Mike was chilling. For half an hour, I lay in bed without caring about anything. Then, I got ready to go off to my afternoon class.

I know this post sounds so negative. This week and last week were not so good for me. However, I feel a lot better today. Don't worry, everyone.

... language. We managed to get a bus to a town called Miyun and we ended up in a middle of nowhere (the guidebook mentioned some local buses but didn't say how to find them!). We quickly gave up and rented a car with a driver, that's always a solution.
Anyway, the Wall itself was simply amazing - both the view and the wall were beautiful and majestic. It's definitely a place to go!



This hotel, located in the Olympic CBD area of Beijing, is near Huahsi Night Market, Great Hall of the People (Renmin Dahuitang), Ancient Observatory (Guguanxiangtai), and Lotus Lane.
