... amp;F. Amsuingly we have also seen a few disposable nappies sticking through the trouser slits, which seems to defeat the point!
Continuing on a toilet theme, after paying for toilets throughout Russia, we have been pleased to find free public toilets everywhere in China. Some are clearly for the locals - in the back streets where houses probably don't have their own sanitary systems - but many are close to tourist attractions. They are usually pretty ...

... to go and see the pandas!

We went back to the hotel and basically passed out on the beds - it was so nice to lie flat! I say flat, both Bekah and I used our rucksacks as foot rests to try and reduce the swelling in our feet. It was actually remarkably comfortable, and whilst it didn't work completely, our feet were so much better!

I am so glad that we did the organised trip through the hotel to go and see the pandas, whilst we knew that we had to get ...

Grant woke me up twice during the night, first time he put on the light on and looked distraught at me, telling me he thinks there's holes in the corner of the room where snakes can get in. After telling him to shut up and go to bed we slept a bit longer before he woke me again laughing this time, telling me he had a dream he was eating gummy bears and woke up chewing on his earplugs haha, thank god he didn't swallow them! Woke up and settled our bill at The Bruce Chalet who had ...

... each and every student. I was too busy blowing my nose to pay too much attention. I then spend the rest of the day struggling through my classes. I taught 1 primary school class today. The students are 10 years old and simply adorable. Maybe I should be teaching primary school? I really like high school students, but middle school kids, no matter what country, are not for me. That is definitely the worst age. I end my day teaching the most adorable kids in China ...

... we met up with the interns and went to a final dinner with them and Frank & Lesley. We went to a Beijing Duck restaurant, had the usual assortment of other delicious dishes in addition to the outstanding duck. A perfect ending to our assignment. Tomorrow we head home, so this is the last entry aside from updating photos when I get additional snapshots from the team. Farewell!
