... when you arrive in a city like this where there's nothing for hours other than small villages and farms/countryside and/or mountains, then suddenly a city appears out of "nowhere". ... to the rear of this stupa, we found a novel take on the way to present an offering - here they are represented by keyhole-less padlocks! Piles and piles of them had been fastened to every available anchor point, clustered over the chain railings lining the path up to a little temple and continuing inside to adorn every possible bar, bannister or power cable.

... Once i was done at the temple i went back to my hotel to get my stuff and head for the train. Well i tried to get into my room and failed. I went downstairs. It turns out that because i was supposed to be checking out in 40 min my key would not get me into my room... um well they finally let me into my room when i explained that i knew i had to check out but my stuff was still in the room.
