So we arrived in Haikou at about 1am, we had been told on the ferry by some lads that there was a train at 2am and 4am to Sanya but it was a slow train that would take around 7 hours. We didn't mind though and so headed out into Haikou to find a taxi.
We were both immensely upset that it was raining as we got off the ferry as we had expected a week of glorious sunshine - but it stopped pretty quickly and the heat hit us.
