Arrival is at unpleasant 5:30 in the morning but don't worry that you might miss the arrival you don't need to set your alarm, they make sure you wake up even with earplugs, I can promise you!

On the way to Haikou, we were stopped at an intersection for a red light. There was a street cleaner in the center of the road who stepped in front of the stopped cars to sweep the street on our side. The motor scooters to the right of us were all going through the red light, crossing in front of us, to turn left. I asked Belinda if the scooters don't have ...

... Haikou and then we are going to travel on to explore the island. Belinda's cousin Harry, who is a tour guide, is taking us around.

Tonight we went to see an outdoor performance called Impressions of Hainan. We were accompanied by Belinda's mom and dad, Harry and his wife, their two children and Harry's mother in-law. Harry's children are Connor, about 4 and the baby who is less than a year.

The performance is hard to describe. ...
