We then went to Mao's Summer Palace, Maozedong Donglu Jiuju on the shores of East Lake which is now being revamped into a conference centre, but we saw one of Mao's cars in a glass case.     Will and I got the 0905 train to Wuhan, Hubai Province, another old concession port on the Yantgtze River, arriving in Hankou at 12.18, and got a taxi to the Holiday Inn Riverside.

    ... very very rich. We met with one of Jun’s old primary school friends who still lived in the area and we had a tour of the local mining grounds. Not only was it interesting but also it really showed me how far Anna’s father had come and what he had achieved in his life. It brought great perspective to how lucky Anna and I were.
