This is our last evening in Zhengzhou. We just received her passport today, so tomorrow morning, we will be flying to Guangzhou, which is where the US Consulate is based. One more week there and it will be time to come home. Mama and Daddy are definitely ready - we miss home!!

... It looked a little wobbly, but I guess that's what happens when you do not walk for almost three days. An hour later, she was just walking around picking up all of her toys and throwing plush toys at Daddy.
We are making great progress in such little time. So proud of our Addy P!
Yesterday was a long day. We woke up early in the morning to grab some breakfast and headed over to the registration office where each family was presented with the official certificate saying we were their parents. After that, we were back on the bus to go to the Notary Office where they had to get copies of the certificate and other papers we were provided earlier. They also had to take a family picture with the Notary Officer. ...
... Then, we have an afternoon appointment with the Orphanage Director and Officer for more paperwork. Will try to catch some Z's now while she is sleeping. Hope you enjoy the pics.

After a couple of days I was able to rid my self of crutches, I stayed in all weekend with my foot in the air. It was so annoying because I do not like lying around. But after about two weeks the wound began to really heal, shrinking everyday smaller and smaller, with no sign of infection. My bruise healed, my right arm hurt less and the swelling in my foot ...
